BIO:
Ngozi Brown is both a licensed architect and an NCIDQ-certified interior designer. Her expertise includes learning environment design and evidence-based design – she is EDAC-certified by the Center for Health Design. Brown is a Magna Cum Laude graduate of Tuskegee University where she completed her Bachelor of Architecture Degree. Brown is also a 4.0 GPA graduate of Concordia University, Portland Oregon where she received a Master of Education degree. Brown is certified by the United States Green Building Council as a LEED Accredited Professional with a specialty in Neighborhood Design. She is certified by the Green Building Initiative as a Guiding Principles Compliance Professional.
“My first architecture internship was at this very firm more than 20 years ago,” states Brown, “I am so excited to have the opportunity to extend its legacy into the next generation with beautiful, thoughtful, and innovative design.”
Brown is currently on the AIA Arkansas Board of Directors as the AIA Central Section Chair; in this capacity, she serves on several committees including the Women in Architecture (WIA) committee and the Diversity committee. Further, she sits on the boards of both studioMAIN and the Architecture + Design Network (ADN). In addition, Brown has previously been appointed by Arkansas Governor Asa Hutchinson as a Special Commissioner of the Capitol Zoning District Commission, where she served as Chair. And as a volunteer docent for the Arkansas Arts Center, she is continually honing her craft and deepening her understanding of, and appreciation for, the fine arts - a practice which meaningfully informs and sharpens her design approach. To each and every project she brings empathetic professionalism, a vigorous work ethic, lucid vision and tireless commitment to client satisfaction.

Mr. Finney is WGA's Senior Construction Administrator; his role is to monitor the construction of projects and act as liaison between the design team and the construction team. Mr. Finney will have intimate knowledge of the design team's intent and will be able to ensure that the design intent is carried out in the built product. Mr. Finney will meet with the project team on a weekly basis to provide updates on the construction status and to preempt any conflicts between the design/construction documents and the field procedures. The construction administrator will provide quality control for construction and will work in-sync with the project manager and designers in all applicable design efforts.
Mr. Finney has twenty-five plus (25+) years experience in the construction industry including eighteen (18) years as President/CEO of his own construction company. Under his leadership, The Finney Company, Inc. grew to become a multi-million dollar entity. Mr. Finney's skills and experience enhance the lines of communication between the designers and the field operations.
